What is Kid’s Chance?


An attorney and expert in workers’ compensation systems that has presented at many national gatherings, including meetings of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, William “Bill” Minick holds a Masters in Law Degree from the SMU Dedman School of Law. Currently the president at PartnerSource in Dallas, TX, Bill Minick is also very involved in many community charities, including Kids' Chance.

A charitable non-profit organization, Kids' Chance works to provide funding and programs supporting educational opportunities for children whose parents are injured or killed in accidents at work. With a presence in all fifty states, the ultimate goal of Kids' Chance is to provide more funds for more needy children.

With thousands of fatalities a year of workers under the age of 55, many children are seriously affected by workplace incidents. Kids' Chance’s efforts include supporting local Kids' Chance organizations around the country, fundraising for scholarships, increasing awareness, advocacy, and providing related training and educational programs.
